About SERCOM

With an interdisciplinary approach in digital domains, the SERCOM laboratory was established in 2010 by researchers and professionals from various sectors. This initiative is dedicated to fostering cutting-edge research, thereby paving the path for exciting innovations and applications in the digital realm. SERCOM, under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, is affiliated with the Polytechnic School of Tunisia. Comprising four specialized teams—3S, computer vision, IoT & embedded systems, and optical communication—SERCOM converges efforts towards a singular goal: advancing research and innovation in the digital landscape.

SERCOM's objectives encompass:

Contributing to the advancement of scientific research in IT and Telecommunications.

Proposing, supervising, and overseeing innovative research and development projects.

Collaborating with socio-economic partners both nationally and internationally.
